Why Colour Fades
Colouring opens the hair’s outer cuticle to deposit pigment inside. Anything that lifts the cuticle again lets that pigment wash out:
• Hot water — the single largest cause. It opens the cuticle every wash.
• Frequent washing. Every wash takes some colour, so washing less is the cheapest colour-protection there is.
• Harsh detergents. Strong sulphates strip pigment along with oil.
• Sun. UV breaks down colour molecules directly, and it is relentless here.
• Heat styling without protection.
• Chlorine and salt water.
What Actually Keeps Colour
• Wash in cool or lukewarm water, and finish with a cold rinse to close the cuticle. This is free and it works better than any product.
• Wash less often — two or three times a week, using dry shampoo in between.
• Use a sulphate-free, colour-safe shampoo, on the scalp only.
• Condition the mid-lengths and ends every wash, and use a mask weekly.
• Wait 48 to 72 hours after colouring before the first wash. The cuticle is still settling.
• Heat protectant before any hot tool, and keep the temperature down.
• Cover your hair in strong sun, or use a UV-protective spray.
Damage, and What It Actually Needs
Coloured and bleached hair is usually protein-damaged rather than simply dry — it stretches when wet, feels mushy and snaps easily. That needs a protein or bond-building treatment, not more moisture. But too much protein makes hair stiff and straw-like, which people then treat with more protein. Alternate: moisture masks regularly, protein occasionally. And nothing repairs a split end — only scissors do, and a trim every eight to twelve weeks saves length rather than costing it.
Shopping This Category
• Every listing states what we actually know — size, quantity, country of origin, and the specification the manufacturer publishes. Where a detail is not available, the page says so instead of filling the space.
• Compare pack size, not just price. A larger pack is usually cheaper per unit; a small one is the sensible way to try something new.
• Delivery across Bangladesh, with cash on delivery available in most areas.
• Ask us if a listing does not answer your question. We would rather check than guess, and we correct a listing when we find it wrong.
Frequently Asked Questions
How soon can I wash after colouring?
Wait at least 48 hours, and 72 if you can. Washing too soon is one of the commonest reasons colour fades within a fortnight.
Is sulphate-free shampoo necessary?
It genuinely helps for coloured hair — strong sulphates strip pigment. Cool water and washing less often make a bigger difference still.
Why did my colour turn brassy?
Warm undertones showing through as colour fades, often helped along by sun and hard water. A purple or blue toning shampoo once a week neutralises it; used too often it can leave a dull cast.
How do I know the product is genuine?
Check the seal, the batch number and the expiry printed on the pack itself rather than on a sticker over it. Everything we sell is sourced to arrive sealed and within date, and if what you receive does not match the listing we will put it right.
How long does delivery take?
Inside Dhaka, usually one to three working days. Outside Dhaka, generally two to five, depending on the courier and your location. We contact you to confirm the order before it is dispatched.
