Safety First, and It Is Short
• Never leave a baby alone in the bath, even for a moment. A baby can drown in a very small depth of water, in complete silence, in seconds. If the doorbell goes, take the baby out.
• A bath seat or support is not a safety device. It holds a baby in position; it does not remove the need for a hand on them at all times.
• Check the water temperature every time — around 37°C. Test with your elbow or wrist, not your hand, or use a bath thermometer.
• Run cold water first, then add hot, and turn the hot tap off first. This is the standard way to avoid a scald.
• A non-slip mat in the tub and on the floor beside it.
• Have everything ready before you start — towel, clothes, nappy — so you never have to leave.
Choosing the Right Items
• A tub with a newborn support for the first months, then a plain tub as the baby can sit.
• A hooded towel genuinely helps — babies lose heat fastest from the head.
• A soft rinse mug with a rolled edge makes rinsing hair without water in the eyes far easier.
• A thermometer if you are at all unsure about temperature.
Keeping It All Clean
Bathroom humidity means everything here needs to dry properly. Empty and dry the tub after every use, hang sponges and mats rather than leaving them flat, and replace sponges every few weeks. Squeeze the water out of any squeezy toy and store it upside down — the black specks that come out of bath toys are mould.
Shopping This Category
• Every listing states what we actually know — size, quantity, country of origin, and the specification the manufacturer publishes. Where a detail is not available, the page says so instead of filling the space.
• Compare pack size, not just price. A larger pack is usually cheaper per unit; a small one is the sensible way to try something new.
• Delivery across Bangladesh, with cash on delivery available in most areas.
• Ask us if a listing does not answer your question. We would rather check than guess, and we correct a listing when we find it wrong.
Frequently Asked Questions
What water temperature is right?
Around 37°C, which feels comfortably warm rather than hot on your inner wrist or elbow. A baby’s skin scalds at a temperature an adult would find merely hot.
How often does a baby need a bath?
Two or three times a week for a young baby, plus a daily wash of the face, neck, hands and nappy area. Daily bathing dries the skin.
When can my baby move to a normal bathtub?
Once they sit steadily and unsupported, usually around six to eight months — always with a non-slip mat and always with you within arm’s reach.
What if the product is wrong or damaged?
Contact us as soon as the parcel arrives, before the item is used, and keep the packaging. Anything sent in error, damaged in transit or not matching its description is our problem to solve.
How long does delivery take?
Inside Dhaka, usually one to three working days. Outside Dhaka, generally two to five, depending on the courier and your location. We contact you to confirm the order before it is dispatched.
