Why the Wider Back Is the Part That Matters

Most people who leak overnight leak at the back, and it is a shape problem rather than an absorbency one.

• Lying down redirects flow backwards. A pad shaped for someone upright runs out of material exactly where it is needed.
• A wider back adds surface area where the gap is, which is why night pads flare towards the rear rather than simply being longer.
