How to Use

1. Lather in the shower and apply to the back, chest and any other affected area.
2. Leave it on the skin for one to two minutes before rinsing. Acids need contact time — rinsing straight away is the main reason a BHA body wash disappoints.
3. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
4. Start every other day and build up to daily if skin stays comfortable.
5. Moisturise afterwards. Acne-prone skin still needs it.

Sun Protection Is Not Optional With This

This product increases the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight. Used without daily sunscreen it can leave skin worse than it started — more pigmentation, not less, because UV exposure is what drives most of the discolouration these products are bought to treat.

• Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning, SPF 30 or higher, and reapply through the day when outdoors.
• Use around two finger-lengths for face and neck. Under-applying is why sunscreen so often underperforms its rating.
• The sensitivity continues for about a week after you stop using the product.

What Else Helps With Back Acne

The cleanser does more when the basics are right. Shower promptly after exercise rather than sitting in damp clothes; wash workout gear after every use; rinse conditioner out fully and bend forward so it does not run down your back; and choose loose cotton over tight synthetics where you break out. None of that is a product, and all of it makes a difference.

Patch Test First

Before using a new active on your face, try it on a small area — the inner forearm or just below the jaw — and leave it for 24 hours.
