Herbal D-Care Tablets – Daily Herbal Wellness Supplement
Original price was: 1,990.00৳ .570.00৳ Current price is: 570.00৳ .
A herbal tablet sold under the name “Dia Control”, in tablet form rather than the usual powder.
It does not control diabetes. If you are diabetic, read the section below before you buy — and do not change any prescribed medicine.
Read This First If You Are Diabetic
This product is named “Dia Control”. That name will be read as diabetes control, so let us be exact about what it is:
It is a herbal dietary supplement. It does not control blood sugar, it is not a treatment for diabetes, and it must not replace metformin, insulin or any other medicine you have been prescribed.
The seller’s own description says the same thing in its disclaimer — “this is a dietary supplement, it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease” — but that line sits at the bottom, under a product name that says the opposite. We are moving it to the top.
Uncontrolled diabetes damages eyes, kidneys, nerves and blood vessels quietly, over years, before it hurts. Someone who stops or reduces their medicine because a supplement felt like it was working does not feel anything go wrong until real damage is done. That is the risk this page exists to prevent.
What the Product Is
A herbal supplement in tablet form, made from selected herbs and sold as part of a daily wellness routine. The seller’s stated advantage over similar products is the format: tablets rather than loose powder, so there is no measuring and it travels easily.
What the Evidence Actually Says
Herbal supplements sit in an awkward place: some have real, measured effects, many have small ones, and a few have none beyond what people expect from taking them. The marketing rarely distinguishes between the three.
“Natural” does not mean “safe” or “gentle”. Plants make powerful compounds — that is why so many medicines came from them in the first place — and a herb strong enough to have an effect is strong enough to interact with a medicine. Herbal products are also less tightly regulated than medicines, so what is in the bottle varies more between brands than it does for a pharmaceutical.
What Actually Manages Blood Sugar
None of this is exciting and all of it works:
- The medicine your doctor prescribed, taken as prescribed.
- Regular monitoring, and an HbA1c test when your doctor asks for one.
- What and how much you eat — portion size of rice, roti and sugar has a bigger daily effect than any supplement on this shelf.
- Walking. Thirty minutes most days measurably improves how your body handles glucose.
- Weight, sleep and stress, all of which affect blood sugar more than people expect.
- Foot checks and an annual eye check, which catch complications early.
If you want to add a herbal supplement on top of that, tell your doctor you are taking it — some herbs do lower blood sugar a little, and combined with medication that can push you too low.
This Is a Supplement, Not a Medicine
A dietary supplement is a food product. It is not a medicine, it has not been through the testing a medicine goes through, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Supplement labels use health language — “supports”, “helps maintain”, “promotes” — precisely because they are not permitted to claim treatment. Read them that way. If a listing anywhere promises that a capsule will fix a medical condition, that promise is not one the product can keep.
What a supplement can honestly do is fill a gap in your diet. That is worth something, and it is a smaller thing than most packaging implies.
Talk to a Doctor First
Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before you start, particularly if you:
- take any prescribed medicine — supplements interfere with medicines more often than people expect
- are being treated for a heart, liver, kidney, thyroid or blood condition
- have diabetes
- are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding
- have surgery or a dental procedure coming up
Never stop or reduce a prescribed medicine in order to take a supplement instead. That is the single most dangerous thing anyone does with a product like this, and it is what the marketing language quietly invites.
Storage
- Keep the container tightly closed, somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight.
- Do not store it in a bathroom. Heat and humidity break supplements down faster than anything else, and a Dhaka bathroom is the worst place in the house for them.
- Leave the desiccant sachet in the bottle. It is there to keep moisture out, not by mistake.
- Softgels and fish oils are best kept in a fridge in hot weather — they go rancid otherwise.
- Keep it out of reach of children.
- Do not use it after the expiry date, and throw it away if the capsules smell strongly off, have stuck together or changed colour.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I stop my diabetes medicine if I take this?
No. Never stop or reduce a prescribed diabetes medicine because of a supplement. If you want to reduce your medication, that is a conversation with your doctor based on your test results.
Does it lower blood sugar?
It is not tested or approved as doing so, and we are not going to claim it does. If you take it, keep monitoring as usual and tell your doctor.
Can a person without diabetes take it?
It is sold as a general daily supplement. As with anything herbal, check with a doctor first if you take other medicine.
How long before I notice anything?
Honestly: with most supplements, you do not notice anything, because filling a nutritional gap feels like nothing. Where there is a measurable effect it usually takes weeks to months. Be sceptical of anything you feel within a day or two.
How do I check the pack is in date?
The expiry date is printed on the bottle or the base of the box. Check it as soon as your order arrives. If it is unreadable or close to expiry, message us and we will replace it.
