Elite Height Develop Powder – Calcium & Protein Nutrition Drink
Original price was: 1,990.00৳ .671.00৳ Current price is: 671.00৳ .
A milkshake-style nutrition powder from Elite Corporation with protein, calcium, zinc, magnesium and vitamin D.
It is sold as a height-increase product. It does not increase height, and the section below explains exactly why — please read it before buying.
What This Product Actually Is
A milkshake-style nutrition powder made by Elite Corporation, mixed with milk or water. The seller lists protein, calcium, zinc, magnesium and vitamin D as the main nutrients.
As a nutrition drink that is perfectly reasonable. Protein, calcium and vitamin D genuinely matter for growing bones, and a child or teenager who is not getting enough of them from food will benefit from getting enough — from any source.
It Does Not Increase Height. Here Is Why.
Height is set by the growth plates — bands of cartilage near the ends of the long bones. While they are open, bones lengthen. At the end of puberty they harden into solid bone and fuse. That is typically around 14-16 in girls and 16-18 in boys, and once it has happened the bone cannot get longer.
Nothing changes that. Not calcium, not protein, not vitamin D, not any powder sold anywhere. After fusion, the only things that alter adult height are surgery and posture.
What nutrition does do is real but narrower: a child who is malnourished will not reach the height their genetics allow. Feeding that child properly lets them reach their own potential. It does not push them past it, and it does nothing at all for an adult.
So — if you are buying this for a growing child whose diet is thin, it is a nutrition drink and it may help them grow as well as they were going to. If you are an adult buying it to get taller, it will not work, and we would rather tell you that than take your money.
“Not a Medicine, So No Side Effects” — That Is Not How It Works
The listing argues that because the product is not a medicine and is made from natural ingredients, it has no side effects and can be taken indefinitely without concern.
That reasoning is wrong, and it is worth saying so because it appears on a great many supplement listings:
- Food products cause side effects too — allergy, intolerance, stomach upset.
- Calcium and vitamin D can be overdone. Vitamin D is fat-soluble and accumulates; too much calcium over a long period is linked to kidney stones. Both are safe at sensible doses and neither is harmless at any dose.
- Being unregulated is not the same as being tested. “No known side effects” often just means nobody has looked.
Do Not Exceed the Stated Dose
Follow the dose printed on the pack. More is not better with supplements — for several of them, more is worse.
- Fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K) build up in the body rather than being flushed out. A high daily dose taken for months can accumulate to a harmful level.
- Taking two products that both contain the same vitamin is an easy way to double a dose without noticing. Check every label you are taking.
- Stop and see a doctor if you get nausea, stomach pain, unusual bruising, a rash, or anything else new after starting.
This Is a Supplement, Not a Medicine
A dietary supplement is a food product. It is not a medicine, it has not been through the testing a medicine goes through, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Supplement labels use health language — “supports”, “helps maintain”, “promotes” — precisely because they are not permitted to claim treatment. Read them that way. If a listing anywhere promises that a capsule will fix a medical condition, that promise is not one the product can keep.
What a supplement can honestly do is fill a gap in your diet. That is worth something, and it is a smaller thing than most packaging implies.
Talk to a Doctor First
Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before you start, particularly if you:
- take any prescribed medicine — supplements interfere with medicines more often than people expect
- are being treated for a heart, liver, kidney, thyroid or blood condition
- have diabetes
- are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding
- have surgery or a dental procedure coming up
Never stop or reduce a prescribed medicine in order to take a supplement instead. That is the single most dangerous thing anyone does with a product like this, and it is what the marketing language quietly invites.
Storage
- Keep the container tightly closed, somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight.
- Do not store it in a bathroom. Heat and humidity break supplements down faster than anything else, and a Dhaka bathroom is the worst place in the house for them.
- Leave the desiccant sachet in the bottle. It is there to keep moisture out, not by mistake.
- Softgels and fish oils are best kept in a fridge in hot weather — they go rancid otherwise.
- Keep it out of reach of children.
- Do not use it after the expiry date, and throw it away if the capsules smell strongly off, have stuck together or changed colour.
Frequently Asked Questions
My child is 15. Will this make them taller?
It will help them reach the height their genes allow if their diet is currently short on protein, calcium or vitamin D — and so will milk, eggs, fish, dal and daylight. It will not add height beyond that. Sleep and general nutrition matter more than any supplement.
I am 25. Is there anything that works?
No supplement, no exercise and no stretching programme increases adult height once the growth plates have fused. Anything sold on that promise is selling you something it cannot deliver.
Is it safe for a teenager?
As a nutrition drink, generally yes, at the stated dose. Check with a doctor first if your child takes any medicine or has a kidney condition, and do not add other calcium or vitamin D supplements on top without asking.
Should I take it with food?
Follow the pack. As a general rule, fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) and oils absorb better with a meal that contains some fat, and they are gentler on the stomach that way.
How do I check the pack is in date?
The expiry date is printed on the bottle or the base of the box. Check it as soon as your order arrives. If it is unreadable or close to expiry, message us and we will replace it.
