• Essence is a watery hydrating layer — pleasant, not essential.

• Sheet masks are a hydration boost, not a treatment. Two or three times a week at most, and never leave one on until it dries — a dry sheet pulls moisture back out.

Buying Korean Products Safely

Popularity brings counterfeits, and this is one of the most counterfeited categories anywhere. Check the seal, the batch code and the manufacturing date printed on the pack itself — Korean products usually carry a manufacturing date rather than an expiry, with the shelf life stated separately. Poor printing, spelling errors and a price far below everyone else’s are the usual signs.

What does “PA++++” on the sunscreen mean?

It rates protection against UVA — the ageing and pigmenting rays — where SPF rates UVB, the burning ones. PA+++ or PA++++ is what you want here, and it is the half most people never check.

Is a sheet mask worth using daily?

No. Two or three times a week is plenty, and take it off after 15 to 20 minutes while it is still damp. Daily use adds nothing and the packaging waste is considerable.

How do I know the product is genuine?

Check the seal, the batch number and the expiry printed on the pack itself rather than on a sticker over it. Everything we sell is sourced to arrive sealed and within date, and if what you receive does not match the listing we will put it right.

How much shelf life will it have?

We stock to arrive well within date and do not knowingly ship anything close to expiry. If you need a specific minimum for a particular order, ask before placing it and we will check the batch.
