It gathers everything that goes on your skin, in your hair, into your body as a supplement, or into your daily routine — from a face wash and a shampoo to a multivitamin, a shaving razor and a first aid cream.

The section is deliberately broad, because in practice people do not shop by category — they shop by problem. Inside it you will find:

• Skin care — cleansers, moisturisers, serums, sunscreen, and targeted products for acne, pigmentation and sensitivity.

• Hair care — shampoo, conditioner, oils, masks, colour, and treatments for dandruff, scalp problems and hair fall.

• Food supplements and well-being — multivitamins, omega-3, collagen, herbal supplements and nutritional drinks.

• Men’s care — shaving, beard care, trimmers and grooming tools.

• Personal care and medical supplies — everyday hygiene, ointments and small medical devices.

Choosing Well in a Section This Big

Three habits make the difference between spending well here and spending twice:

• Buy for the problem, not for the promise. The single most useful thing on any product page is the ingredient list and the size — not the adjective on the front of the pack.

• Give a product time. Skin renews itself over roughly a month and hair grows about a centimetre a month, so almost nothing in this section shows a fair result in under six to eight weeks. Changing product every fortnight is how people spend a great deal and conclude that nothing works.

• Change one thing at a time. If you start three new products in a week and your skin reacts, you have no way of knowing which one did it.

Genuine Products

Much of this catalogue is imported, and imported shelves are where fakes and repacks appear. Whoever you buy from, these are worth checking:

• The seal. An intact shrink wrap or safety ring is what tells you a product has not been opened.

• The batch number and expiry printed on the pack itself, not on a sticker over it. A sticker covering the original printing is the commonest sign of a repack.

• A price far below everyone else’s is information — sometimes a genuine clearance, often a fake or something close to expiry.

Where do I start if I have never had a routine?

Three products, honestly: a gentle cleanser, a moisturiser suited to your skin type, and sunscreen in the daytime. That is a complete routine and it does more than a shelf of ten. Add anything else only once those three are habits.

Do supplements replace a proper diet?

No. A supplement fills a gap; it does not replace food. The ones worth taking are the ones you have a reason to take — a deficiency, a life stage, a diagnosed need — and a blood test is a better guide than a shelf.

Are these products suitable for sensitive skin?

Many are, and there is a Sensitive Skin Care section for the ones formulated for it. Whatever you buy, patch test a new product on the inner forearm for 24 hours before putting it on your face.

How do I know the product is genuine?

Check the seal, the batch number and the expiry printed on the pack itself rather than on a sticker over it. Everything we sell is sourced to arrive sealed and within date, and if what you receive does not match the listing we will put it right.

How long does delivery take?

Inside Dhaka, usually one to three working days. Outside Dhaka, generally two to five, depending on the courier and your location. We contact you to confirm the order before it is dispatched.
