Lubab Dry Harvest Dried Banana is made from selected ripe bananas dried without artificial colour, flavour or preservatives. Nothing is added — the sweetness is the banana’s own, concentrated as the water goes out.

Dried fruit is one of the genuinely practical snacks: it does not need refrigeration, it does not get crushed, and it survives a school bag or an office drawer. For travel it beats almost anything fresh.

What Dried Banana Actually Gives You

It keeps the fibre and the potassium of the fresh fruit, and it is a straightforward source of energy — which is why dried fruit turns up in trekking food and in lunchboxes.

One thing worth knowing: drying concentrates the sugar. Removing the water from a banana leaves the same sugar in a much smaller piece, so gram for gram dried banana is far sweeter than fresh. That is not a problem — it is fruit sugar with the fibre still attached — but it is worth knowing if you are managing blood sugar or giving it to a child. It is a snack, not a free food.

Note also that these are dried, not fried. That makes them a different product from the banana chips sold in oil-fried packets, which are a fried snack rather than a dried fruit.

How do I check the expiry date?

It is printed on the pack — usually on the base, the seal or the back panel, and often as a “best before” date. Check it as soon as your order arrives. If it is unreadable or very close, message us and we will replace it.
