Read this first: despite the brand name, this is not for babies. Baby Bright is a Thai cosmetics label whose products are aimed at adults, and this particular one is an AHA exfoliating face wash. AHAs resurface the skin and increase sun sensitivity. It must not be used on a child’s face under any circumstances.
What it actually is: a 120g face wash combining AHA with glutathione, aimed at dullness and uneven tone. The AHA lifts dead surface cells; glutathione is an antioxidant used widely in Asian skincare for brightness. Made in Thailand.

Sun Protection Is Not Optional With This
AHAs increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight, and that sensitivity continues for about a week after you stop. Used without daily sunscreen, an exfoliating acid can leave skin with more pigmentation than it started with — UV exposure is what drives most of the discolouration these products are bought to treat.
- Broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning, SPF 30 or higher.
- Around two finger-lengths for face and neck.
- Reapply through the day when outdoors.
How to Use
- Wet the face with lukewarm water.
- Lather a small amount and massage over the skin for about 30 seconds, avoiding the eyes.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Start every other day. Daily use suits some people and irritates others.
- Follow with moisturiser, and sunscreen in the morning.
Patch Test First
Try it on the inner forearm and leave for 24 hours. Mild tingling is common with an acid; burning, spreading redness or persistent itching means stop. Do not combine it with other exfoliating acids or a retinoid in the same routine while you are getting used to it.
