Choosing One

• Guard range matters more than motor power for home use. Check the shortest and longest settings and whether the steps are fine enough — 0.5mm increments make a real difference for beard work.

• Blade material. Stainless steel is standard; titanium and ceramic stay sharper and run cooler, and a hot blade is what makes a long session uncomfortable.

• Corded, cordless or both. Cordless is convenient; corded never dies halfway through. Machines that do both are the safest choice.

• Wet-and-dry only if it says so. Rinsing a head that is not water-rated destroys the motor.

• Voltage — 110-120V imports need a step-down converter here.

Trimming Well

• Dry, clean, combed hair unless the machine is wet-rated. Trimmers drag badly through wet or oily hair.

• Start with a longer guard than you want. You can always take more off.

• Move against the direction of growth, slowly, in overlapping passes.

• Let the machine do the work. Pressing harder pulls hair rather than cutting it.

• Blend between guard lengths instead of leaving a hard line — go over the join with the next size up.

• Trim the neckline and the cheek line last. A beard that is otherwise fine looks unkempt the moment those two lines are not.

The Maintenance That Decides Its Lifespan

• Brush the cut hair out after every use. Hair packed against the blade is what makes a trimmer pull.

• A drop of clipper oil on the blade every few uses. This single step decides whether a machine lasts one year or five, and it is the one everybody skips.

• Dry it completely before it goes back on charge if the head is washable.

• If it starts pulling, clean and oil it before assuming the blade is finished.

• Do not share a trimmer head, and clean it between users — anything that breaks skin can carry infection.

• Store dry with the guard on, and keep a lithium battery around half charged if putting it away.

Storing It Properly

Bangladesh’s heat and humidity are harder on most products than anything else they will meet.

• Cool, dry and out of direct sunlight — not a sunny windowsill, and not the hottest corner of the bathroom.

• Keep the cap closed properly. Air and moisture do more damage over months than anything else.

• Do not decant into an unmarked container. Once the pack is gone, so are the batch number, the expiry date and the instructions.

• Keep it out of reach of children.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why has my trimmer started pulling?

Almost always packed hair and lack of oil rather than a blunt blade. Brush it out, oil it, and it usually cuts like new.

Is a nose hair trimmer safe?

A rotary trimmer made for it is, and it is far safer than scissors or plucking. Never pluck nose hairs — the follicle can become infected, and that is a dangerous area for one.

Can I use a body groomer on my face?

Check the machine. Many kits have separate heads, and a body guard is usually too coarse for a neat beard line.

What if the product is wrong or damaged?

Contact us as soon as the parcel arrives, before the item is used, and keep the packaging. Anything sent in error, damaged in transit or not matching its description is our problem to solve.
