A pack of 20 disposable underarm sweat pads made from soft non-woven fabric, white, unisex. Each pad has an adhesive backing and sticks to the inside of a shirt, blouse or kurta at the underarm.

They solve a specific problem that no deodorant solves: the visible wet patch and the yellow staining on the fabric itself. Antiperspirant reduces how much you sweat; a pad catches what still comes through before it reaches the shirt.

How to Use Them

1. Start with clean, completely dry skin. Apply deodorant or antiperspirant first and let it dry fully.
2. Peel the backing and stick the pad to the inside of the garment, not to your skin, with the curve following the armhole seam.
3. Press it down firmly for a few seconds so the adhesive takes.
4. Put the garment on and check that the pad sits over the whole underarm area when your arm is down.
5. One use each. Peel off and bin them at the end of the day; do not wash and reuse.
6. Two pads per wearing — one for each side. A 20-piece pack is ten wearings.

Deodorant, Antiperspirant and What Each One Does

They are sold side by side and they do different jobs:

• A deodorant does not stop sweat. It masks and slows odour, which is not made by sweat itself — fresh sweat is nearly odourless — but by skin bacteria breaking it down.
• An antiperspirant reduces the sweat, using aluminium salts that temporarily block the ducts. If wetness is the problem rather than smell, this is the one you need.

Two things make a bigger difference than which brand you buy: apply it to clean, completely dry skin, and apply it at night. An antiperspirant works far better applied before bed, when you are sweating least, and it survives the morning shower.

Do not apply any of them to skin that has just been shaved or waxed — that is where the stinging and the rash come from.

Will they show through a thin shirt?

They are thin and white, so under a white or light shirt they are usually invisible. Under something very sheer or very dark and thin, check in a mirror first.

Can I wash and reuse them?

No. They are disposable non-woven fabric and the adhesive does not survive washing.

Are they suitable for sensitive skin?

They sit on the fabric rather than the skin, which is why many people who react to antiperspirant get on with them. If the adhesive touches skin at the edge and irritates it, reposition the pad slightly further into the garment.

How should I store it?

Cool, dry, closed and out of direct sunlight. Not on a sunny windowsill and not in the hottest corner of the bathroom — heat and humidity degrade fragrance and active ingredients faster than anything else.
