Cathy Doll Invisiblur Sun Matte is a broad-spectrum SPF 50+ PA++++ sunscreen with a soft-focus, blurring finish. Where the CC Glow version in the same range leaves skin luminous, this one sets down matte and blurs the look of pores and texture.
Finish is not a trivial preference. The most common reason people abandon sunscreen is that it feels greasy or looks shiny by midday — and a sunscreen you stop wearing protects nobody. On oily and combination skin, a matte formula is often the difference between daily use and a tube left in a drawer.

How to Use
- Apply as the last step of morning skincare, after moisturiser.
- Use around two finger-lengths for face and neck — this is what the SPF rating assumes, and most people apply a third of it.
- Let it settle 15-20 minutes before going out or applying makeup.
- Reapply every two hours outdoors. A powder or cushion SPF is the workable way to top up over makeup.
SPF and PA — What the Two Ratings Mean
They measure different rays. SPF is the UVB scale, the rays chiefly responsible for burning; SPF 50 filters roughly 98% of UVB and the marks above that add small increments. PA measures UVA, which penetrates deeper and drives tanning, pigmentation and photoageing. PA++++ is the highest grade. A product needs both to be broad spectrum in any meaningful sense.
Patch Test First
Before using a new active on your face, try it on a small area — the inner forearm or just below the jaw — and leave it for 24 hours. Mild tingling on application is common with acids and settles; stinging, burning, redness that spreads, or itching that persists is not, and means the product is not for you.
Introduce one new product at a time. If three go on together and skin reacts, there is no way to tell which one caused it.

Can I wear makeup over it?
Yes. Give it a few minutes to set first, which is what prevents foundation from pilling.
How should I store it?
Somewhere cool and dark, with the cap closed. Heat and light degrade actives — vitamin C and retinol especially — so a bathroom windowsill is the worst place in the house for them.
